Our Missionary: Bro. Alfonso Recalde (Argentina)
In 2007 Emmanuel became the sponsoring church for Bro. Alfonso Recalde. Brother Recalde is a native Paraguayan and is the missionary/pastor of Mision Bautista Emanuel; which is Emanuel Baptist Mission, in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina. From this location he is able to venture into Ciudad del Este, Paraguay and Brazil. Bro. Recalde with the help of Bro. Ted Barker and Bro. Ben Moore have been spreading the gospel via a film highlighting the life of Christ as well as a weekly radio program.
